Path dari Satelit LAPAN-A2 itu sama dengan Path Fenomena Equator ElectroJet.

Fenomena Equator ElectroJet menghasilkan TEP (Trans Equatorial Propagation) sehingga kita bisa berkomunikasi antara daerah selatan Equator ke daerah Utara Equator dan sebaliknya.

Komunikasi Radio AMSAT(Amateur Satellite) yang menggunakan LAPAN-A2, sebenarnya komunikasi radio menggunakan propagasi trans-equatorial atau biasa disebut Trans-Equatorial Propagation.

Media pantul yang digunakan itu layer equatorial electrojet, dan tidak menggunakan Satelit sama skali. Ketinggiannya mulai dari 90-130 km diatas permukaan bumi di area equator.

Media pantul ini sepanjang area equator, sesuai dengan gambaran pergerakan posisi satelit LAPAN-A2 atau IO86-ORARI(nama International-nya).
